Seagate Technology Renews Washburn Contract | |||||||||||||||||||||
Bellevue, WA, June 2008 – Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX), the world’s largest maker of hard drives, has expressed its firm intention to continue working with Washburn Communication during fiscal year 2009, which starts July 1. Seagate anticipates retaining Washburn at the same significant level as previously. “Seagate’s renewal of our vendor agreement is a vote of confidence in our company and our people,” says Chris Lemoine, Director of Major Accounts at Washburn Communication. “We are honored to help Seagate continue in leading the storage industry with innovation and in empowering people and businesses to create, store, protect, carry, and share digital content.” Washburn has worked with Seagate for more than four years. Washburn managers and writers regularly speak to and visit with Seagate marketing managers at the company’s headquarters in Scotts Valley, California, and in Seagate’s globally distributed organization. Many of the relationships with individual Seagate stakeholders are long-standing and much treasured by the Washburn team. Says Lemoine, “Seagate is the most generous client anybody could ask for. The subject-matter experts and marketing managers provide excellent direction and are always ready to brief our people on Seagate’s newest insights and breakthroughs.” For Seagate, Washburn has created a variety of marketing materials, including case studies, online content, presentations, and large portfolios of documents to drive several strategic marketing campaigns. Involvement with Seagate has also exposed the Washburn team to the vast community of Seagate partners and resellers, many of them among the industry’s most creative and visionary talents.### |
