Bellevue, WA, May 2008 – Washburn Communication recently promoted Joshua Wong to Production Editor from Editorial Assistant.

Wong joined Washburn Communication in April 2007 as an Editorial Assistant. Previously, Wong—who speaks conversational Japanese—taught English in Ibaraki, Japan, where he oversaw classroom instruction and performance evaluation for 25 students.

As Editorial Assistant at Washburn, Wong supported all aspects of the production process, including proofreading, template design, and publication. In his new role as Production Editor, Wong provides editorial feedback to writers, manages the production workflow, and maintains the company Web site.
