  Bellevue Reporter Highlights Washburn Communication as Green Marketing Leader

Bellevue, WA, June 2008 – The Bellevue Reporter newspaper, part of the Reporter Newspapers group of publications, featured Washburn Communication in an article that appeared in the June 14, 2008, edition of the paper.

The article, titled “Going Green and Getting Down to Business,” focuses on the challenge faced by many businesses today of incorporating environmental messaging into their overall marketing strategy. Washburn is highlighted as a leading provider of environmental or “green” marketing services. “Green marketing is something we’ve committed ourselves to; it’s a major initiative for our company,” says Dale Washburn, Founder and President of Washburn Communication.

For the past several years, Washburn has helped clients in a variety of industries and verticals create and communicate environmentally themed messaging. Says Chris Lemoine, Director of Major Accounts at the Bellevue, Washington–based company, “We don’t help companies get green, but whatever is already green about them, we help them tell that story in a credible way.”
